Our mission is to support, promote, and assist underrepresented musicians from around the world, by providing funding for new music projects and support in accessing a global audience.
Money is raised from grants, donations, and fundraising events.
Money is distributed to emerging musical leaders to host online and hybrid in-person events, connecting philanthropists, musicians, and audiences from around the world.
The executive body will vote on and determine which communities receive support.

Shubha Varma is a practicing vascular surgeon in Hackensack New Jersey. She has been in the world of community service from her early days of being a physician, volunteering her time and being engaged in many medical missions over the years, in underserved communities in Haiti and the Dominican Republic as well as in India.
Shubha is the founding member and Director of Ashalata Foundation a 501c3 registered under the United States IRS. This is an organization that carries out health related charitable activities in destitute and poverty ridden areas in rural India. Her mission is to make health care as available to the general public in India, as it is to India’s rich. Now that the matter of saving lives during the covid outbreak is taken care of, she hopes to develop preventative strategies to set up nutrition, exercise and health education-based health care delivery systems, to boost health and wellness in rural communities in India.
Shubha is a passionate musician who is committed to the cause of empowering musicians and showcasing music from all over the world as well as building permanent web-based archives of our musical traditions that will outlast this and multiple generations down the road. She believes that it is our creative arts that keep us deeply in touch with ourselves and our source energy and that it will be our creative arts that will ultimately be our road to salvation on a personal and humanitarian level.
She is also a passionate mom and the mother of two amazing young men.

Ehren performs classical Indian music as a soloist and accompanist in NY and around the world. He has the fortune of accompanying maestros including the late Pandit Ramesh Mishra, late Pandit Subrata Ryan Chowdhury, Steve Gorn, and others.
He has also collaborated on experimental and creative projects with West African giant Noura Mint Seymali, Cuban legend Bobby Carcasess, Roman Diaz, the American Symphony Orchestra, and many others.
He is the co-host of the Brooklyn Court - a music series featuring touring and local artists in an intimate setting, reminiscent of the royal courts of Indian history.
